About Me

I became aware of the power of hypnotherapy over thirty years ago, when my GP suggested it might help me to give up smoking. Following that course of sessions, I have never smoked another cigarette Since then I have used hypnotherapy to help with weight loss, lack of confidence and a phobia. In 2009 I attended a seminar run by one of the founders of NLP, Richard Bandler; The hypnotherapist, Paul McKenna and Life Coach, Michael Neill, where I gained my NLP Practitioner’s Certificate.

I have worked with vulnerable people for some years, having been a Customer Services Adviser for Adult Social Care for the past ten years and prior to that, teaching English to speakers of other languages - mainly refugees and asylum seekers. This work required a high degree of empathy. Having retired from my job with Adult Social Care, I now have the opportunity to do something to make a positive difference to people’s lives, and what better way to do this than with hypnotherapy and NLP. I trained with the Academy of Medical and Clinical Hypnotherapy and now work from a practice room in my own home. I would love to help you to achieve your goals and to make the changes you desire in your life.
